Compliance and Audit Services:


Michele Castner is a Consultant for Compliance and Audit Services at Next StepTechnology. She has fourteen years of experience in the financial savings bank industry, including five years of internal audit and compliance experience. Her internal audit experience includes lending deposit and retail operations, Information Technology, ACH, bookkeeping, item processing, account reconciliation, and accounting and finance operations. Michele’s compliance experience includes BSA/AML, HMDA/CRA, deposit and retail operations regulations, Regulation O and GLBA/Privacy.

Michele has conducted operational, compliance, and financial audits for all areas within a financial institution. She has worked with compliance committees and was responsible for working on the Sarbanes-Oxley project for a multi-billion dollar financial institution.

Michele is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Association.

Michele graduated from Keller Graduate School of Management with an MBA and a Masters in Telecommunications Management. She also has a BS degree in Computer Information Systems.
